Quezia is an immigration consultant. She’s passionate about informing & empowering people.
“I am a Lawyer in Brazil and Portugal with over 10 years’ experience. I fell in love with teaching when I was a professor’s assistant during my bachelor’s studies at University, then through my Master’s Degree. As an immigrant in Ireland I know what challenges we face on the migrant journey. Since 2019 I have been studying the Irish Legal System full-time, and at the end of 2020 I developed the idea of Your Rights, based primarily on my experiences and my frustration at the lack of accurate, relevant and useful information for our community in Ireland.”
Quezia recently earned a Certificate in Employment Law from IT Carlow/ SETU (South East Technological University).

“I have lived and worked in more than 10 different countries in the last 25 years, now I am back in Ireland, working for migrants. I spent 7 years in Rwanda and the East African community working in the Renewable Energy and music and documentary film industries, for The World Bank, National Geographic Explorer and NHK Japan among others. I have lived the migrant experience in several EU countries, Asia, India, North America, Australia and New Zealand. I understand the complications of migration and the challenges of settling into a new environment.”
